RESISTANCE MEANS SOMETHING IS CHANGING

  • Pain doesn't mean the process isn't working. Resistance is proof something is changing.

OPPOSITION BEGINS WITH DISCOURAGEMENT

Nehemiah 4:2-6

  • The enemy loves ridicule because ridicule creates discouragement and discouraged people put bricks down.
  • We spend more time replaying criticism than listening to the Holy Spirit.
  • The enemy realizes: if I can’t stop them through fear, maybe I can exhaust them emotionally.

  • Faithfulness is not waiting until motivation arrives, faithfulness is picking up another brick while tired.

WHEN OPPOSITION ESCALATES INTO FEAR

Nehemiah 4:7-18

  • Courage in Scripture is never the absence of fear It’s obedience in spite of fear.
  • Faith is not laziness with Bible verses attached. God works through dependence and wisdom.
  • You can’t rebuild anything meaningful without spiritual resistance.

Nehemiah 5
