Responding to Opposition

RESISTANCE MEANS SOMETHING IS CHANGING

• Pain doesn't mean the process isn't working. Resistance is proof something is changing.
  
• The resistance you feel may be proof that God is doing something meaningful in your life.

• Sometimes opposition is Reveal Answer you’re rebuilding something that Reveal Answer .

OPPOSITION BEGINS WITH DISCOURAGEMENT

Nehemiah 4:2-6

• The enemy loves ridicule because ridicule creates discouragement and discouraged people put bricks down.
• We spend more time replaying criticism than listening to the Holy Spirit.
• The enemy realizes: if I can’t stop them through fear, maybe I can exhaust them emotionally.

Key Thought:

• Faithfulness is not waiting until motivation arrives, faithfulness is picking up another brick while tired.

WHEN OPPOSITION ESCALATES INTO FEAR

Nehemiah 4:7-18

• Courage in Scripture is never the absence of fear It’s obedience in spite of fear.
• Faith is not laziness with Bible verses attached. God works through dependence and wisdom.
• You can’t rebuild anything meaningful without spiritual resistance.

Key Thought:

• Sometimes resistance is proof you’re finally moving in the Reveal Answer Reveal Answer .

INTERNAL DIVISION AND EXTERNAL OPPOSITION

Nehemiah 5

• Some of the deepest opposition people face doesn’t happen outside the church.
• You cannot rebuild God’s kingdom while ignoring injustice.

Key Thought:

• External attacks are Reveal Answer . Internal division is Reveal Answer .
• Real leadership Reveal Answer people not Reveal Answer people.

DISTRACTION IS ONE OF THE ENEMY’S GREATEST WEAPONS

Nehemiah 6

• Some of you are getting pulled into distractions that are beneath your calling.
• The enemy wants you to stop halfway. Half-healed. Half-free. Half-committed. Half-surrendered.

Key Thought:

• The enemy doesn’t need to Reveal Answer you if he can Reveal Answer you.
• What have you Reveal Answer building?
