Pastor John Danganan The Cultivated Life

Welcome to our church 'ohana 🤙🏽

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. – Galatians 6:7-10

SPIRITUAL AND OFTEN HAPPENS GRADUALLY THEN SUDDENLY.

1. THE CULTIVATED LIFE REQUIRES .

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. 2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? – Galatians 3:1-3

29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. – Romans 8:29-30

26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” – Mark 4:26-29

2. THE BRIDGE BETWEEN SOWING (GRADUAL) AND HARVESTING (SUDDENLY) IS .

8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:8-9

  • THERE IS POWER IN THE PROCESS OF .

29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. – Exodus 22:29-30

3. RESOLVE TO OVERCOME THE TWO TO LONG OBEDIENCE.

  • Internal Weariness of : “Let us not grow weary in doing good…”
  • External Exhaustion of : “…we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
